When I read this piece aloud, it really does feel like a Christmas poem...even something like "T'was the Night Before Christmas." There is a special excitement to this piece today.

And the message? "Pure Essence And Real Love" are found within us all. What a lovely way to express that part of us which transcends human existence. Thank you, Council of Poets, and thank you, Suzanne!

I am quite certain that I will never think of a "pearl" in quite the same way again...Lois Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15419727527324508763noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7983822052824018511.post-30245631311316597972009-12-16T11:14:18.925-05:002009-12-16T11:14:18.925-05:00I love this poem! I love the beauty of pearls because of their whiteness and purity and also because they come from the ocean. To me the ocean is like a womb and the moisture in an oyster helps form one pearl."Each man's like an oyster. Maybe crusty on the outside, But inside him such beauty Like the pearl he does hide."

Our true essence and light comes from within and helps shape our outer shell and existence. We are all born with this inner beauty and unique identity. Our true "Jewel" are the treasure's of the heart and how we choose to express our love and divinity in this life time....

TheJenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16644032593730618222noreply@blogger.com
