Whoever you are writing today, I say, "thank you." "Blowing in the wind" brings to mind Bob Dylan, of course. I love the opening verse. It reminds me of my childhood in Minnesota. I would pick the dandelion that had gone to seed, make a wish, and blow. Precious memories...<br /><br />We are asked today to consider why certain people are in our lives, and to "follow the footsteps" to the future. But we are cautioned once more by the words, "Beware of what you crave, the future's for the brave." It's interesting the way this poem begins with the seeds and the dandelion. Dandelions are so beautiful especially when they turn white and the seeds get carried off by the wind.
