About the Poetry

All of the poems in this blog are spirit-inspired. Every word came to me each day for a full year while in deep meditation. I simply wrote what I heard onto a pad of paper in my lap with eyes closed – meaningful, multi-stanza verses in mere minutes. I was unaware of each poem’s theme until I transcribed it later word for word. Each day brought new and wondrous discoveries about the world beyond our five physical senses, incredible wisdom, and messages of hope which I share with you in this blog. The last poems received are displayed below on this page, but the entire collection of 365+ poems are archived here in the left-hand column. You can search by topic or keyword using the search box in the upper left corner. May you find among them just the right message which speaks to your heart.

Poem #207 - One

One is a singular number.
It stands alone, all by itself.
Like a solitary soldier…
A single book upon a shelf.

But One can hold true greatness.
It encompasses all things.
For in the oneness is completeness
Both the good and bad that your life brings.

Search your heart and find the answers.
Know in there the truth does lie.
You may think that all is separate,
But you become One when you die.

What is One lies at your essence.
It’s the spirit that’s the same.
It’s the life force that flows through you.
It is God by any name.

This force you cannot separate.
The spirit you cannot divide.
And seen even as one billion souls
From this force you cannot hide.

So see the love in all mankind.
For it’s this Force that you does bind.
You’ll feel the oneness in all things
When to others you are kind.

  1. The Council of Poets is direct today in relaying to us the message of "oneness in all things." We are told to look within to find this truth. "What is One lies at your essence." Powerful images and expressive word choice lead to the urging for all of us to "see the love in all mankind." It couldn't be more clearly stated nor more beautifully written.

May we "feel the oneness in all things" this day as we walk our paths in kindness and in love...

  2. I like the line,"you will feel the oneness in all things when to others you are kind."

When we are good to others this kindness returns and we will attract similar people into our lives.

Let us live in a way that leaves no regrets."See the love in all mankind." Be tolerant of others and stay true to your heart...
