About the Poetry

All of the poems in this blog are spirit-inspired. Every word came to me each day for a full year while in deep meditation. I simply wrote what I heard onto a pad of paper in my lap with eyes closed – meaningful, multi-stanza verses in mere minutes. I was unaware of each poem’s theme until I transcribed it later word for word. Each day brought new and wondrous discoveries about the world beyond our five physical senses, incredible wisdom, and messages of hope which I share with you in this blog. The last poems received are displayed below on this page, but the entire collection of 365+ poems are archived here in the left-hand column. You can search by topic or keyword using the search box in the upper left corner. May you find among them just the right message which speaks to your heart.

Poem #213 - Share Your Pain

Silent misunderstandings …
Words that go unsaid …
When if you only worked things out,
You would find peace instead.

Yet you keep your feelings
Bundled up inside.
There they boil and fester
As you do your best to hide.

Why this need to be closed off?
What is it you fear?
By keeping all your pain balled up
You cut off those you hold most dear.

There’s not a feeling you can have
That others don’t as well.
So universal are your thoughts,
Yet these you fear to tell.

Recognize your sameness.
Be willing just to share.
And you will find you’re not alone.
So many truly care.

  1. "So universal are your thoughts," is a truth that we often fail to consider. Poetry and literature of all genres touch the soul because of this fact. A piece of art, literature, or music speaks to us because the themes truly are universal. I cannot help but think of the message of "oneness" this poem brings again today.

On to living life in love this day with less fear and more sharing...

  2. Wonderful Poem.

Isn't true that some of us are so afraid to share our feelings and hide whats going on inside. Not only does this send a false message but keeps the pain from releasing and locks away the tide.

We are all made the same way and each of us is uniquely different but we are all connected as one...
