About the Poetry

All of the poems in this blog are spirit-inspired. Every word came to me each day for a full year while in deep meditation. I simply wrote what I heard onto a pad of paper in my lap with eyes closed – meaningful, multi-stanza verses in mere minutes. I was unaware of each poem’s theme until I transcribed it later word for word. Each day brought new and wondrous discoveries about the world beyond our five physical senses, incredible wisdom, and messages of hope which I share with you in this blog. The last poems received are displayed below on this page, but the entire collection of 365+ poems are archived here in the left-hand column. You can search by topic or keyword using the search box in the upper left corner. May you find among them just the right message which speaks to your heart.

Poem #215 - The Importance of Love

Look at everything with love.
Hold nothing back at all.
By your loving actions
Are you seen at your last call.

Success and gold mean little,
Unless they’re put to use in service.
For giving love to others
Is your life’s intended purpose.

The little things you cherish
Cannot go with you when you pass.
But moments filled with love
Put you foremost in your class.

Live every moment with the knowledge
That how you love, it truly matters.
It makes no difference if you’re hungry
And your clothes are left in tatters.

What’s most important in your life,
Is the way you treat your fellow man.
So concentrate your efforts
On being as loving as you can.

  1. "Look at everything with love." A beautiful reminder this morning from the world of spirit to live our lives in love. I cannot help but think of one of the Ten Commandments from the Old Testament of the Bible, "Love thy neighbor as thyself." It is a truth we all know, but one too easily forgotten when ego takes over our lives. "What's most important in your life is the way you treat your fellow man."

May we remember to seek the love within ourselves today and be as loving as we can to others...

  2. Love will never die...

Love appears in many different forms. Love is the source of joy when others believe in you and understand what things are like by standing in your shoes. Love, is a garden of roses where the scent intoxicates you and you can feel the firmness and warmth growing beneath you. "That how you love,it truly matters". Love becomes a bridge that connects us to others and helps us to embrace the splendor of life...

  3. Love never dies..

Love is like a garden full of roses that grows firmly within our hearts...

Loved is a bridge that connects us to others and uncovers the "spirit" within us all.

  4. As I read my comment above this morning, I realized that I was quoting the words of Jesus from the New Testament of the Bible. The passage "Love thy neighbor as thyself" is found in the Book of Matthew where Jesus is explaining the last six of the Ten Commandments of the Old Testament. So "Love thy neighbor as thyself" is actually a "summation" of several of the commandments.
