About the Poetry

All of the poems in this blog are spirit-inspired. Every word came to me each day for a full year while in deep meditation. I simply wrote what I heard onto a pad of paper in my lap with eyes closed – meaningful, multi-stanza verses in mere minutes. I was unaware of each poem’s theme until I transcribed it later word for word. Each day brought new and wondrous discoveries about the world beyond our five physical senses, incredible wisdom, and messages of hope which I share with you in this blog. The last poems received are displayed below on this page, but the entire collection of 365+ poems are archived here in the left-hand column. You can search by topic or keyword using the search box in the upper left corner. May you find among them just the right message which speaks to your heart.

Poem #220 - Set the World Afire

Innovations…
Brand new ideas
From where do they rise?
Genius comes in many forms
This fact please realize.

All minds are linked
They work as one,
Connected like a wire.
If all could activate this link
You’d set your world afire.

So bright would be the energy,
A loving, throbbing orb
If all the shining light at once
Your world could just absorb.

But one by one you forge this link
It takes so few to make a change.
By harnessing this powerful force
Your world you rearrange.

Strive to be a shining light –
The genius that you are.
Harness what is yours to give,
And shine your light afar.

  1. "Strive to be a shining light." Wow, I love this poem. Motivating energy flows through this piece right to the ending line, "And shine your light afar." The oneness theme comes through vividly for me as we are told, "All minds are linked." We each possess the power to make a difference in our world. We must go within to seek the "spark of the divine" and shine the light of love throughout our world.

May we each do our part today to "set the world afire..."
