About the Poetry

All of the poems in this blog are spirit-inspired. Every word came to me each day for a full year while in deep meditation. I simply wrote what I heard onto a pad of paper in my lap with eyes closed – meaningful, multi-stanza verses in mere minutes. I was unaware of each poem’s theme until I transcribed it later word for word. Each day brought new and wondrous discoveries about the world beyond our five physical senses, incredible wisdom, and messages of hope which I share with you in this blog. The last poems received are displayed below on this page, but the entire collection of 365+ poems are archived here in the left-hand column. You can search by topic or keyword using the search box in the upper left corner. May you find among them just the right message which speaks to your heart.

Poem #204 - Do Not Despair

Sinking, sinking into despair.
Falling deeper, beyond repair.
Or so you think.

You cannot see a source of hope.
You contemplate a gun or rope.
And have a drink.

Why so little thought of love?
Why not seek help from up above?
You must know not all is lost.

Yet through your pain you cannot see
That you are pure divinity -
Not rubbish to be tossed.

All despair lies in the mind.
It’s thought that you and pain do bind
But thoughts can change.

In an instant you can be free.
Help lies within you, can’t you see?
When your beliefs you rearrange.

Sink no further if you dare.
Go inside and focus there.
Do not waste another hour.

Call upon your Higher Self.
Place your fears upon the shelf
And discover your true power.

  1. "Why so little thought of love?" The spirit world again reminds us today that we are "pure divinity" at our core. Call upon the Spirit within for the love and strength to overcome thoughts of despair. "And discover your true power."

May we all find the "divinity" within a source of hope today as we walk our paths in love...

  3. Another powerful poem.

I like the line ,"It's thought that you and pain do bind. But thoughts can change."

If we keep our thoughts positive we can eliminate the negative. If we look within,we can change the negative aspects of our lives. By listening to our heart, we will know that our experiences help us to ripen and grow...
