About the Poetry

All of the poems in this blog are spirit-inspired. Every word came to me each day for a full year while in deep meditation. I simply wrote what I heard onto a pad of paper in my lap with eyes closed – meaningful, multi-stanza verses in mere minutes. I was unaware of each poem’s theme until I transcribed it later word for word. Each day brought new and wondrous discoveries about the world beyond our five physical senses, incredible wisdom, and messages of hope which I share with you in this blog. The last poems received are displayed below on this page, but the entire collection of 365+ poems are archived here in the left-hand column. You can search by topic or keyword using the search box in the upper left corner. May you find among them just the right message which speaks to your heart.

Poem #221 - Living Now

Erase the bitter memories.
Don’t linger in the past.
There’s far more beauty in you now
Than in things that never last.

Focus all your thoughts and love
On things that never change:
On doing all that you can do…
Things well within your range.

Things like helping others,
Giving service where you can.
This type of altruism
Helps advance God’s special plan.

Spend not your days in worry
That you’ll never have enough,
That you won’t be able to get by
When the going it gets tough.

You’ve all the treasure in the world
Right there within your chest.
And spending your love freely
You bring to you what’s best.

Of course you do have bills to pay
When on the earth you walk.
But spend less time in worry,
Put less emphasis on talk.

Concentrate instead
On doing what feels right.
And memories and worries
Will no longer give you fright.

  1. A great message today from the world of spirit...live in the present. We've been told before to release the "bitter memories" of the past and to let go of worries about the material part of our lives. Instead, live in the "now" and give of what we possess... especially love from the spirit center within us all.

May we each walk our paths today "giving service where we can..."

  2. This poem puts me at ease...

"Put less emphasis on talk". Do what feels right.
Another message on going with the flow and not allowing our worries take over to where we don't enjoy life...

    Lovely poem.
