About the Poetry

All of the poems in this blog are spirit-inspired. Every word came to me each day for a full year while in deep meditation. I simply wrote what I heard onto a pad of paper in my lap with eyes closed – meaningful, multi-stanza verses in mere minutes. I was unaware of each poem’s theme until I transcribed it later word for word. Each day brought new and wondrous discoveries about the world beyond our five physical senses, incredible wisdom, and messages of hope which I share with you in this blog. The last poems received are displayed below on this page, but the entire collection of 365+ poems are archived here in the left-hand column. You can search by topic or keyword using the search box in the upper left corner. May you find among them just the right message which speaks to your heart.

Poem #222 - You Need Not Fear

The whole of the Universe is yours.
Gaze upon the stars and know
That you are in them, and they in you …

Beloved,
You need not fear.
With every step you take,
Love is near

Your very life is proof
Of this – the greatest truth:

You were born of love;
Born of God’s desire.
In you was planted
A spark of the divine fire.

Never doubt that you’re special,
For God gave you breath.
And you will go on living
Even after your physical death.

You need do little
To reap what is yours.
But when love you do share,
Then true peace in you soars.

Feel the Love that you are.
Feel it course through your veins.
Realize that you’re Spirit,
And release earthly chains.

There is no need to fear.
No reason for doubt.
When you bask in God’s light
You know what Life’s all about.

  1. What a beginning! "Gaze upon the stars and know that you are in them, and they in you." I remember vividly doing exactly this as a child. Yet sometimes we forget as we grow older. Today's poem is a comforting reminder to "Realize that you're Spirit" and acknowledge the "spark of the divine fire" within us.

May we "feel the Love that we are" today, release the fears and doubts, and move forward to share love freely in our world...
